ON MY TUMBLR: sammaloo.tumblr.com/post/82462… She took me forever lol, but for my first complicated hand-sewn plush with no pattern I am quite happy. Queen Elinor is one of my favorite characters of all time, and probably my favorite Pixar character (along with Anton Ego from Ratatouille). She's such a real character, and is so full of heart, soul, and power. I felt her pain more than Merida's in the film, and her relationship with her family just warms my heart. She is what she says a princess strives for: Perfection~
- She took me about 20 hours.
- She’s made of velour, velvet, and cotton.
- Her crown is sculpey clay with Swarovski crystals and a plastic gem (that I melted so it looks more like her stone).
- Her belt is metal chain links with an abalone circle.
- Her dress has about 70 beads.
