Magic Wand - The Dryad

for my digital art class, we're supposed to do...well, something. to be honest, i don't quite understand the project lol it has to do with "augmented reality" though. so i decided to change reality so that photoshop and other computer options are available in real life. instead of just making art on my computer, i could use tools to make it come to life. i decided to put the magic wand tool to make it like i'm "using magic" to make my dryad come to life

what i wrote with my project:
"As an augmented reality, I decided to make it so everyday computer and Photoshop tools could be utilized in real life. Instead of just drawing my dryad, I could now use the Magic Wand tool to make her come alive. The folder serves as my memory of her, something I can pull up and open at any time. It allows me to organize my thoughts and memories, and store them away when I don’t need them. I’ve always thought that life would be so much easier if we could use computer shortcuts and tools in real life. Nothing would be better than to be able to Ctrl-Z anything and everything."

this image was interesting to do - her extended/right arm took me an excruciating 30 minutes alone lol i was having so many problems with it. i also didn't want the photo of my computer in the bg, so i tried to darken it out so you can make out what it is without it being to prominent. i actually don't like doing photo+drawing images. my style just stands out awkwardly when i do it >.>
